Monster Wolf
I started coordinating stunts on my second feature in Louisiana. The new show is a Syfy Channel movie called Monster Wolf, about a spirit unleashed by oil riggers who disturb a sacred burial ground while excavating. The spirit appears in the form of a monstrous wolf, for lack of a better word, that terrorises a Louisiana community. The production company, Activity Films, operates out of Lafayette, my home town, and we’re shooting in and around Lafayette Parish.
Since the wolf demolishes everything in site, numerous stunts are required. The lead actors are Jason London, Leonor Varela and Griff Furst. Furst, a founder of Activity Films, is also a Producer.
It’s exciting for me to come full circle returning to my home town to make a film. I left Louisiana years ago because my calling was elsewhere. There were no local opportunities in film.
How times have changed.

Do you know when this movie will air? And does these SYFY movies ever go to dvd?

I’m starting my second show with this production company later this week. I’ll find out when “Monster Wolf” airs. However, I’m quite sure that SYFY movies go to DVD eventually. But, to be sure, I’ll check on that, too.
Thank you for your interest.

Any news on a release date, air date or dvd date?

All I know now is that the air date will be sometime this summer. I don’t think the production company has more info than than since SYFY makes those decisions. But, I have yet another movie with the same production company in a few weeks and hopefully I’ll have even more definitive information by then.
Thanks for your interest. I hope I can be more help soon. Stay in touch.

Thank you, Weston. I did not know about the Facebook page. The trailer looks great! It’s always cool to see the work you’ve done after it’s edited. It looks like its going to be a good one.
Did you see my post, Monstrous Crash? It’s about a day of work on Monsterwolf crashing cars. What fun!

Weston – It just occurred to me: Did you work on “Monsterwolf” doing fire safety?

No, I was an extra, a hunter.

If you contact the production company that produced the shows you worked on, they might send you a copy.
